Customers purchase popular items by submitting a down payment and making subsequent weekly payments. Purchases are made using a customer's debit card or checking account information tied to their regular bank account. Each week a payment is automatically withdrawn until the purchase period is over. There are no hidden fees or obligations. Affordit customers own their products completely.

Affordit was founded by serial entrepreneur Wil Schroter.
